Gambling includes things like poker, sports events, and anything else that can have a bet placed on it. Gambling is a fun activity that has been going on for centuries. Some people are good enough at it to win the money to pay monthly bills. Still others are lucky enough to make gambling their full time jobs. Going to the horse or dog track can set you up for either a very profitable day, or send you scouting around for a loan. The same can be said for a night playing high stakes poker.

Gambling is more than a way to increase (or decrease) your wallet. It is a way to socialize with others of like minds, and have fun cheering each other on when they win. The challenge of using strategy and competing against other players is exciting. However, it’s even more exciting when you are a winner. It gets the blood pumping and adrenalin flowing. Perhaps it’s the winning, more than the playing itself, that is so much fun. If asked, most gamblers would be hard pressed to answer the question.
